There is a public comment period at the beginning of each meeting during which citizens have 2 minutes to speak on a topic of their choosing. You may also submit a written comment prior to the meeting.

Volunteer
Save Dominican Valley currently has three working committees and a steering committee:
Communications - messaging, website and social media content creation and management, ongoing communication with neighbors (yard signage, template letters to send to planning division, reminders of key city meetings/deadlines, weekly progress updates), press relations
Environmental - Work with local professionals to assess land in terms of the overall environmental impact of the proposed development and specifically endangered plant/animal species, waterway interference, indigenous artifacts, and loss of wildlife habitat. Connect with local environmental groups to alert them to the proposed development and ask for their support. Understand the impact on the larger San Rafael community of the elimination of open space currently used for recreation, community building, and health
Finance - track and manage expenses, fundraise to pay for legal, marketing and subject matter experts
Our Steering Committee oversees committee work, handles administration related to effort, and provides strategic direction.
